The 23rd Annual Symposium's workshops and activities are designed to provide expertise for professionals in the fields of child protective services, law enforcement, the medical community, mental health, community services development, and education. Participants can select from workshops, forums and "Ask the Experts" sessions on topics pertaining to child abuse prevention, advocacy, intervention and treatment.

Continuing education credits have been requested for the following: psychology, medicine, nursing, counseling, legal/law enforcement, social work and marriage and family therapy.
