Stop it NOW! Georgia is a Public Health campaign to prevent the perpetration of child sexual abuse. Our goal is to help adults take responsibility for the prevention of child sexual abuse before a child is harmed.

Stop It Now! Georgia (NOW! GA) is a program of Prevent Child Abuse Georgia and is funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

How Stop It Now! Georgia Can Help You Prevent Child Sexual Abuse

• Educate yourself about preventing child sexual abuse.
• Request a copy of:
  • "Let's Talk" - 16 page booklet that provides information and tools to help adults to have difficult conversations that can prevent child sexual abuse.
  • "Child Sexual Abuse" - Our 16 page booklet that includes checklists of what to watch out for when adults are with children and how to develop a family safety plan.
  • "Do Children Abuse Other Children" - Our 20 page booklet that includes information on healthy sexual development as well as signs of what to watch out for when children are together.

• Help educate your community about preventing the perpetration of child sexual abuse.
• Invite a representative of Stop It Now! Georgia to talk with your parent group, your faith community, your community based organization, etc. We offer both informal presentations and workshops covering adult and community responsibility for perpetration prevention we also offer training and technical assistance to youth serving and faith-based organizations regarding comprehensive child sexual abuse prevention protocols. Prevent Child Abuse Georgia is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse in all of its forms.
