The "Need To Talk" Program

Under Prevent Child Abuse Georgia's Need To Talk? program, public schools distribute cards featuring PCA Georgia's HELPLINE number to teens, giving them a way to seek information and support confidentially.

The Need To Talk? program was launched in May 2000 in three Henry County schools. The program, which gives teens a chance to discuss a variety of problems and important issues with trained HELPLINE volunteers, has expanded into many Georgia counties.

If you are interested in working with PCA Georgia to initiate the program in school systems or child-serving organizations in your Georgia county, call 404-870-6565.
